Marcus' eyes track along the portraits, lining them up alongside what Tim has told him until Bruce says we lost Tim like maybe Tim just slipped out and didn't come back. He does a bad job at controlling his expression, his mouth tightening slightly. It's a cliche and it's stupid but it feels like someone's walked over his grave, it really does.
